Pinball Arcade by Farsight Studios is coming to PC, consoles, and mobile devices.

The first four tables will be Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Theatre of Magic, and Black Hole.

They will be releasing 2 tables every month for years to come!

I would be worried as well if I was part of VPinMAME. A lot of talk about cost and licenses there. Well, it was only a matter of time.

hopefully they will not bash on their main audience (pinball-fans)... can't really imagine some console-kids are interested in playing TOTAN

we just have to wait and see...

i am a little bit worried about too,
but it is normal to talk about all that licensing and costs stuff... they will make money with it - nothing else.
so the must have licenses to sell their products... and to boast with it, to make clear: "hey we have access to all original first hand resources - our tables will be the closest to the real tables".

that's also the reason, why they can publish two tables per month...
(they have access to the original blueprints of tables and models, to light and wire maps, to table ornament and backglass art, sounds, music, ...)
but than it is not art or fun anymore to build and adapt tables.

PS.: jrolson, you are not from "Pinball Arcade", to woo away table developers from here... huh ?!

PPS.: but i am more angry about, that FuturePinball itself was given up to developed further to add more and missing important features.

Aha!

It was only a matter of time when someone jumps on the train. It may not always represent a pinball table in the apartment. by electronic means are everywhere. if you where joker (the manufacturer licenses) help, we'll see. I am glad that there are FP and it's free! and there is a wonderful unity to come gopinball and look forward to the many tables that were created by our members.

Personally, I am more concerned about the lack of "rcadefrk" ... as videos of "jrolson" (even though they are beautiful and interesting!)
I also find it a little stronger than "jrolson" proposed a corrected version of the table "Tron" and that his second post to "gopinball" ...
