Either way, their goal is make games, get noted, make money, enjoy the job. However, can you imagine having a job in the game industry... its like a living a dream

Nash if I were you I'd send all the Game Developers out there a portfolio of my work. You're an exceptional musician and should easily get a job. And if you want some cash for your work, then sign up here: http://www.audiomicro.com/royalty-free-musicSome of the music I use for my mods comes from that site. And it's sister site (sound snap) is the best place for sound effects.

Quite Nice. PS If you "Like" their Facebook page then more videos will be revealed (every 100th Like).

i am one of the guys (not a kid), 40 yrs, but hey still feeliing young THAT LOVE the pinball on the PS3. The ZEN pinball got quick bored. bad physics etc etc.. Marvell pinball is quit oke much better physics... Have the feeling that it still can be better....... Hope that what farlight priomises can deliver to ps3 (which i own). With the right settings ......it can be good. (now still have to find a way for connecting the philips virtual pinball device on my ps3)

The main problem I see is FP is not supported anymore. If black opens the code, i am sure that are many people on this forum that have knowhow to mantain FP as a open software.
Is very hard to put effort in recreating a real table (rules, sounds, images, etc.) with the possibility of black get the site out and your effort goes to trash.
I spent close to 4 months recreating a cirqus voltaire table in FP, and the quality dont even come closer to steve´s tables. The work is huge, extracting every sound from rom, preparing the images, testing the rom to ensure the rules are ok. Many people complain about the DLC, but without emulation, there is no way to put a DLC on FP.

I just got hold of this for my ipod touch - I must say im pretty impressed, it does look gorgeous and the physics are really good - the ball is nice and bouncy but it still has a decent weight. I don't know what its like on other platforms but to be able to play TOTAN on the ipod is awesome. I actually like zen too but the physics on this are much more realistic.
I do think they've done a good job and should be supported... yes I suppose there could be repercussions about recreations, but until I get a cease & desist notice on TOM im happy...
And a note about working in the gaming industry - I've been doing this for nearly 10 years now and have been lucky enough to do what I love most. Yes it is harder work than you imagine, job security is an issue, loads of people are doing it now and there aren't so many rock star salaries about, but I get paid a decent enough wage plus I get to make sound effects and write music and get paid for it - that's the best bit.
